Worm Composting

Early Saturday morning, November 22, 2014, a small group arrived to Mālama Learning Centerʻs classroom, ready and enthusiastic to learn about worm composting!

We learned about the anatomy of a worm... which helps us to take care of our worms... which helps us have happy worms... which can eat HALF their body weight DAILY!!

What a GREAT way to divert food scraps from the land fill... AND make amazing, healthy, natural fertilizer for your garden!

As of today, we have 10 more worm bins in this world... not bad for a Saturday!!
