Pin Loom Weaving

Do you have a drawer half full of t-shirts you never wear?

On September 13, 2014, a small group gathered at Mālama Learning Center to learn the magic of transforming an old t-shirt into a single strand of yarn. We then learned to take that yarn and weave it into a square piece on a simple pin loom that could be used for a pot holder, a trivet, sewn together to make a place mat, glasses case... the possibilities are endless!

Mahalo nui to our workshop participant friends for a morning of laughter, weaving and brainstorming different uses for our t-shirt yarn and pin loom squares.
